RODM Series Demineraliser / Deionizer

The RODI system is specially introduced to produce demineralised water, suitable for hard water, having TDS of more than 500 ppm and upto 1500 ppm. Since, the load of ions of the hard water are too high to treat with demineralisation, the water is first treated with Reverse Osmosis for removal of TDS upto 90%, and then, connect to a DI cartridges for a line of treatment.
The Reverse Osmosis process uses a semi-permeable membrane to separate and remove dissolved solids, organics, pyrogens, submicron colloidal matter, viruses, and bacteria from feed water. The process is called “reverse” osmosis since it requires pressure to force pure water across membrane, leaving the impurities behind. Reverse Osmosis is capable of removing 95-99% of the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and 99% of all bacteria, thus providing safe & pure water.

The RO purified water is directed to multiple Ion-exchange cartridges for further purification and to achieve desired water quality. By dosing this, the treated water quality conforms to the standard of ultra pure water.
